Heather Leanne Karpan, 41, passed away peacefully July 4th, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She will be laid to rest at Saskatoon Tabernacle, Located HWY 12, north of Martensville, Friday, July 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
​
Heather was born on January 6, 1984, in Phoenix, AZ, to Dawson and Davina Riley. Raised as an only child, she still had 5 older half siblings that always included her in all their activities.
​
Heather’s greatest love was the Lord, and she served Him faithfully every day. She loved her family, children and nieces and nephews dearly, and always made time to talk to them on the phone, plan trips and gatherings.
​
Heather was predeceased by her father Dawson Riley, Uncle Joe Riley, and grandparents Wilfred Joe and Clella Riley, and Richard and Carol Garcia.
​
She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Cliff Karpan, children Nicholas (18), Holly, (17), and Samuel (6); mother, Davina (John) Hamm; siblings, Dallas (Alicia) Riley, Shane (Amy) Riley, Robin (Craig) Hanloh, Amy (Gary) Martin, Shawna (Roy); in laws, Dennis and Marj Karpan, Kathleen Karpan, Marko (Kim) Karpan, Jeff Karpan, Maureen Karpan, Daniel (Megean) Karpan; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends and family.
​
The family would like to thank Dr. Macmillian, the nurses, and all the staff at St. Paul’s Palliative Care Unit, and all the RUH neurology Unit, for the excellent care she received over the past 9 years.
Heather loved date nights, in lieu of flowers please take your significant other out for a date night in her honor.
